An Engineering graduate from Cornell University and Army veteran, Larry Parker has over thirty years of experience in manufacturing and logistics environments and over fifteen years installing engineered labor standards (ELS) and deploying labor management systems (LMS) for many companies.
Prior to founding ACL, Mr. Parker managed the LMS/ELS practice for TranSystems and ESYNC; he also owned Resource Management Services which specialized in ELS projects.
He had operational/P&L responsibility in manufacturing, fleet, transportation, and warehouse operations for Pepsi-Cola, Coca-Cola, Perrier and ColorTile. Mr. Parker’s highest-held position was Director of Logistics at ColorTile, where he was responsible for imports, warehouse operations, and transportation in support of ColorTile’s 1,000+ retail stores in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, from four distribution centers (Jessup, MD, Houston, TX, University Park, IL, and San Bernadino, CA).
Mr. Parker has a strong background in the areas of food and beverage, retail, wholesale, grocery, health and beauty aids, medical supplies, food service, and 3PL with experience in design and development of ELS, implementation of LMS solutions and union relations.
Throughout his career, Mr. Parker has led over 150 systems implementations and engineering projects, the majority of which were multi-site operations.
Mr. Parker has spoken at a number of industry trade shows and has led engineered labor standards seminars at Georgia Tech.
